Fall Einstein Toolkit Workshop 2012
This workshop is intended for developers and users that are already familiar with the toolkit. The main goals revolve all around the future development, improvement and extension of the toolkit, so don't expect long talks or presentations, but heavy discussions and long hacking sessions.
Location and Time
The workshop will be organized at RIT, with more details to be added here later.

There are several options for dining available in the Student Alumni Union (Building 4). Other options are the Global Village Cantina and Crossroads located in the Global Village and the Ctrl Alt Deli located in Golisano Hall (Building 70). Hotel
The conference hotel will be the Radisson Hotel Rochester Airport, which is located at the corner of RIT's campus. A group rate will be available ($94 single, $104 double, not including taxes), with the code appearing here shortly, along with more details. There is a shuttle form the airport to/from the hotel, and a shuttle to campus, so cars will not be necessary.
Proposed Topics
Even with loose discussions and coding sessions some topic needs to be set to get something done. Some proposed things to work on are
Efficiency / Scaling- Scheduler (task/data based) (see Adding requirements to the Cactus scheduler)
- Simplify time/refinement level handling
Generic elliptic solver(see notes from session at November 2011 ET workshop: Generic elliptic solver)- Lay down the road map for further MHD development (MHD vector potential, ...)
- Cosmology and the Einstein Toolkit
- Multipatch and hydrodynamics
or only Multipach infrastructure for vacuum? - Create test cases for recent additions to Einstein Toolkit
